Solar energy product
Solar energy products can be very expensive – even
though many solar energy products end up paying for themselves over
the years in terms of energy saved (and therefore money saved), the
upfront costs are unaffordable for many people.
Of course, just because you cannot afford to install a full solar power
system in your home does not mean that you cannot enjoy some solar energy
products. In fact, many solar energy products make excellent gifts.
Here are just a few examples:
· Portable cell phone/mp3 chargers – with the popularity
of both cell phones and mp3 players these days, it only makes sense
that chargers for them are in high demand. The great thing about a solar
charger is that it can be used anywhere that the sun shines –
it can be taken on vacation, hikes, and anywhere else that you may have
trouble finding an outlet.
· Solar backpacks – this solar energy products makes use
of a backpack as a charger for cell phones, mp3 players, and more. If
you know someone that often treks to work or on hikes with a backpack
in tow and earbuds in, then this might just be a perfect gift.
· Solar powered music box
· Solar alarm clock
· Solar radio or headset
· Solar flashlight
· Solar tent – a solar tent? What kind of solar energy
product is that? Well, there are actually solar tents that capture sunlight
during the day that can be used to power interior LED lights! This is
great for any family that likes to camp… with a little luxury.
· Solar cooling hat – while one of these may look a little
goofy at first glance, this solar energy product can keep the wearer
so much cooler than his peers on a hot day.
· Solar powered toys – there are race cars and helicopters
and a great deal of other solar powered toys available for both children
and adults.
The abovementioned solar energy products range greatly in price –
some make great gifts for close family members and friends, while others
are best for acquaintances and/or co-workers. Still other solar energy
products might just be the perfect gift for yourself.
Why not “give green” this next holiday season or for the
next birthday marked on your calendar?
